Sportfishing Peru hosts, Marcel Gondonneau and Lily, his wife, have 19 years of experience with angler's groups. Both are Peruvians, 48 years old, Marcel had been fishing the Peruvian fishing spots for 30 years on conventional and fly fishing tackle.

Payara and Peacock Bass at the Amazon Jungle
The Amazon Basin comprises almost 75% of 's land mass. The rivers and lakes of the Amazon Basin are full of a large and varied number of game fish such as Peacock Bass, Payara (Considered one of the world's best fresh water trophy fish), Pacu and many varieties of Catfish. Amazon Basin fishing in is at its peak from June to October, using light to heavy spin fishing, casting or fly fishing tackle depending on the fish you hope to catch.
Rainbow Trout at the Andean Mountains
Snows thawing from the Andean mountains form numerous lakes and rivers along the edges of the Andes of Peru and is considered a great habitat for Rainbow Trout. Specimens of more than 20 pounds have been captured in lakes. While you may not always find a giant trout, the Andean lakes and rivers are famous for the large numbers of one to four pounds fish. Trout season is at its peak between May and November. Conventional and Fly Fishing styles are welcome and the fishing is guarantee on the real backcountry of Peru.
